Parasailing FAQ

How high when parasailing?

Parasailing is regulated by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). The FAA allows us to fly up to 400ft above the water. In order to achieve this height we use up to 500ft of line on our winch. If heights aren’t your thing, just talk to the captain and he will keep you a bit lower.

How much does parasailing cost?

Premium parasail flight is $99 per person. This includes 500 feet of towline, gentle free falls and a dip in the water if requested. This is the highest flight allowed in the USA.

Observers are $49 per person.  Guaranteed observers $69. Guaranteed observers will have a reserved seat on the boat.

We offer a Photo Package for $39 per group. This is an SD card that we provide with at least 30-40 photos of your group during the parasail trip. We put all the photos on the SD card at the end of the trip and it’s your to keep.

How many people can fly together?

We can fly 2 or 3 people at a time. Each person gets their own harness and life jacket and are attached to the parasail side by side. Most flights are tandem or triple. These flights allow for the maximum time in the air. However, the ultimate decision is made by the captain once he sees the combined weight of the people and the conditions (winds, seas, etc.) at the time of the reservation.

How long is a parasail ride?

Our premium parasail flight is 10-12 minutes.

How long does a parasail trip last?

The average parasail trip last 60-90 minutes from the time we leave the dock.

Is there a weight limit?

Generally not. However, for tandem or triple rides it ultimately depends on the conditions (winds, seas, etc.) at the time of your reservation. The captains make the final decision.

Is there an age limit?

Ages 5 to 105 can fly with us. If you can sit, you can parasail. With children, the younger or lighter parasailers will go up with an older sibling, friend or adult for more weight in the parasail.

Is there a better time to parasail?

No. Anytime is great, except during a lightning storm.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are not required, but highly recommended. You can call us at (609) 389-3947 or book online.

Do I have to get wet?

No. We have a brand new parasail boat with an integrated flight deck on the back. You will take off and land on the back of the boat, so it is not necessary to get wet. However, if you want to get wet, you can request to be dipped at the end of your flight.

What should I wear parasailing?

Swim suit, T-shirt and shoes you can easily slip off and leave at the dock before loading the boat.

What if the weather is bad the day/time of my reservation?

Give us a call if you are questioning whether or not we are going out. The captains will decide if the conditions are suitable for parasailing. We do not parasail when there is lightning or in high winds and rough seas. We still parasail when it’s overcast/cloudy and in light, passing rain. If we know before your reservation that we are not operating we will give you a call.

When are you open (days and times)?

We are open for parasailing every day! We parasail by reservations starting at 8:00 a.m. and run until our last reservation. We are available to take reservations daily starting at 8 a.m. Call or email for reservations anytime.

We download the photos to your iPhone before you leave or if you have an Android, it is an extra $5 to take home the SD card.
